Secret Sessions: Britta Arnold(DE) + Local Support

For this very special occasion we’ve invited one of our favorite artists. Born and bred Berliner Britta Arnold needs little introduction. Britta spearheads the new organic tech-house movement with her deep, groovy, mesmerizing, energetic dj sets. She's is a busy bee, co-founder of the original Bar25 label and a regular at Kater Blau and Burning Man. Britta is releasing her own productions on Katermukke and Heinz, remixing other artists and running ‘Britta Unders’: a collab with Dutchman Unders. Together they recently launched the Happy Camper record label debuting with an organic house release by Noraj Cue and remixed by Be Svendsen.

Britta's organic and deep sound will fuse together perfectly with the sharp and rough interior of our amazing venue for the night.

Hooray, we are experiencing an amazing summer and we feel the need to celebrate that (again).

A green rooftop oasis in the very centre of the city where you enjoy top quality deep house tunes, cold drinks and delicious street food under a clear blue sky on a Sunday.

Backyard Sessions Pre-party with Djuma Soundstystem

Malmö's Backyard Sessions celebrate music, culture & sunshine. It's a two-day festival in Malmö this September where Culture Box also host a stage. They present top names in electronic music from all over the world and taking pride in local Malmö talent. We are buzzing to host the official preparty here in Copenhagen.

Norway's Djuma Soundsystem has been going from strenght to strenght with releases on Get Physical, SOSO and more. Highlights of his impressive career so far includes “Les Djinns” that are still the bestselling track in the history of Beatport. He plays his trademark of warm beats and melodies. Helga Keller from Deep House Sweden, HMWL main man Alex Esser and Asterium from Backyard Sessions round off the Black Box lineup.

Flip and Henri Matisse perform in Red Box. Flip has a string of releases on Noir Music etc. while Henri Matisse is known for releases on Intec and Terminal M. Both are well established as DJs and some of the leading spinners in the capital and always deliver a solid vibe when playing here at Culture Box.

Once again Folkets Park in Malmö receives a makeover when international and local artists together with the greatest crowd on earth celebrates culture, music & sunshine!
